Active@ UNDELETE – Restore Deleted Files, Recover Lost or Erased Partitions
Using the computer can prove to be a positive experience. The computer can help you work faster, the computer lets you access the web and thus access a wealth of information, and the computer can help you unwind – listen to some music, play a nice computer game, or watch an amusing video.
At times though using the computer can prove to be a frustrating experience – like when you lose an important file. There are several ways a file could get lost: you accidentally deleted it, someone else deleted it, a virus deleted it, or a crash caused damage to the file.
When you lose an important file, you need not sweat it. There are specialized software applications out there that can bring deleted files back to life. One such application is the LSoft technologies-developed, the aptly named Active@ UNDELETE. Here is what you can expect to get from this application:
- Recover deleted files and folders (batch file recovery supported)
- Preview deleted files before restoring them
- Detect and restore deleted partitions
- Create a disk image for data backup purposes
- Damaged RAID data recovery and reconstruction
- Write recovered data directly to a CD or DVD
- Create, edit, format and delete partitions
You need to know that there are several Active@ UNDELETE versions out there. The top of the line is Active@ UNDELETE Enterprise; the bottom of the line so to speak is Active@ UNDELETE DEMO. The demo version is offered free of charge, but comes with a limitation: you cannot recover files that are larger than 64KB.
